True crime author Diane Fanning sheds light into the mind of a serial killer and discusses how her book research drew her into the middle of a murder investigation at the June meeting of the Austin chapter of Sisters in Crime. The program begins at 2 p.m. and will be held at the Westlake Barnes and Noble. The bookstore is located in The Village at Westlake, a shopping center at the southeast corner of Loop 360 and Bee Cave Road.
