VOLUNTEER HELP NEEDED AT THE LEAGUE !

Personal and Professional Growth:

No matter what your writing goals may be, you can gain valuable teamwork experience working as a WLT volunteer at the Resource Center, 1501 West 5th Street. As you know, the heart of every nonprofit organization is just as strong as the heart of its members. We've been blessed by the work of our volunteers and in turn our volunteers have been given many opportunities for personal and professional growth.

Earn Volunteer Rewards:

Log into our Volunteer book at the front desk each time you come into the office, and as a token of our appreciation for this commitment and support, you will receive two credits for every hour volunteered at the office. These credits can be used toward registration for workshops, classes, retreats, and the annual Agents Conference (up to 25% off the registration fees), as well as toward your membership dues. The League staff will provide an accounting of the available credits when you are ready to use them. These credits don’t expire.

We will allow one space in each class, workshop and retreat, and 10 spaces at the conference for volunteers seeking to apply these credits. Contact the League to find out how to sign up for the program and be the first to secure your spot. In light of recent state budget cuts, we have expanded our list of volunteer opportunities. Volunteers are also thanked with an Annual Volunteer Appreciation Award and Annual Party.
