The attire for the next concert is khaki pants and a blue shirt-not black as previously stated in an email.

Please notify Doc as soon as possible ...if you plan to continue or not continue with the orchestra next season. If we have any vacancies ... Doc would like to post them on our website ... and ... begin the audition process as soon as possible. Remember ... let Doc know ...EITHER WAY ... whether you plan to continue ... or ... not to continue ... so he can plan accordingly.

Try to bring some type of a clip etc. to hold down your music for our outdoor concert ... so that ... in the event of wind ... it will not be a factor in regard to our music falling off the stand etc.

Elijah Chamber Orchestra ... this is the week ... don't forget ... Wednesday practice from 7 - 9 PM ... Friday rehearsal at the Church from 7 -9 ... Saturday 9 - 12 a.m. ... Sunday performance is 7:00 PM

Congratulations are in order to Katie McDanald, one of our outstanding viola players ... who will be having a baby in late July. Katie will not be able to perform on our last concert with us ... however ... will be back in September as a new 'Mother'. Congratulations Katie ... and ... please keep us posted.

A reminder ... Monday's rehearsal ... 6:45 Strings ... 7:30 Full Orchestra. Please work on "Pirates' ... we will be spending a lot of time on detailing this piece. Make certain measures are numbered.

Doc would like all members to email Sara ... by April 15th ... if you are unable to attend the May 15th concert. He is in the decision making process ... concerning the selection of music ... and ... needs the info to properly select the compositions.

To all of you who volunteered to perform in May for the Eliah Concert ... please mark the following dates on your calendars ... May 14 (7:00 PM) ... May 15 (9-12) ... May 16 (7:00 PM) concert. Music will be distributed as soon as it arrives.

Please take a moment to number each measure of all your music prior to next Monday's rehearsal. This will make it much easier to rehearse our music.
